Benkei assists its clients, both public and private, in the definition, implementation and evaluation of their innovation strategy. We support every client involved in innovation, technological or not: those who innovate as well as those who help innovators and wish to develop original approaches.

Benkei favours co-development approaches and long-lasting collaborations, through missions specifically designed for our clients.

Our business model is based on a complete offer, from innovation strategy definition to development strategy, through formations, ideas generation, project engineering, market studies and going from a project to a product/service.

Benkei is a member and administrator of the French Association of Innovation Consultants, the main representative association of this sector in France. Benkei is active on the working groups on Collaborative Innovation, Marketing and Innovation Strategy.

Benkei is also a founding member of the EAIC, the European Association of Innovation Consultants.


Role in the project

In PUReSmart, Benkei’s actions will mostly be dedicated to day-to-day project management to secure the progress of the project and to support the coordinator (WP7). These actions include:

  • Contractual and financial follow-up according to the European Commission requirements (preparation of the reporting, packaging of the deliverables, amendments…);
  • Definition and follow-up of a quality management policy;
  • Animation of the consortium communication, maintenance of the internal collaborative platform.
  • Support on project strategic orientation with respect of the contractual aspects, objectives of the project and interests of the participants like SMEs and assistance “as neutral partner” in decision making and conflict resolution.

Benkei is also leading the WP6 Communication, Dissemination and Exploitation, to ensure a good market uptake of PUReSmart results and foster further impacts.


Maud Bossard

Maud Bossard (PhD, PMP®)

Maud Bossard holds a PhD in biology (oncology and inflammation) from Queen Mary University of London and an engineering diploma in biotechnologies from ESIL in Marseilles. Maud Bossard is also certified « Project Management Professional » (PMP®) since 2015.

With more than 10 years of experience in an innovation financing consultancy, Maud Bossard acquired a significant experience in collaborative R&D projects engineering, negotiation and management for private and public entities, in various technologic areas (materials, microelectronics, photovoltaic, health, energy, environment). Maud Bossard successfully ensured several collaborative R&D projects engineering and the management of complex projects for renowned French and international entities involving up to 53 partners and with budgets up to 45 M€. Maud Bossard also developed a recognized expertise in the public co-funding processes of national and European R&D projects.
